How to import XTB files into portfoliomanager

One report from xStation covers every account you have at XTB. Download it as a .zip, drop it into the app, and the portfolio is ready in about a minute. The animation below shows each click.

A simplified drawing of xStation, not a screenshot. The app shows the same guide when you import.

One report for all accounts

The report you create in xStation from Account history can include every account at once: PLN, USD, EUR, IKE and IKZE. XTB packs it as a .zip with one .xlsx file per account.

portfoliomanager takes the .zip as it is. Unpacked .xlsx files work too, one at a time or several at once.

What the app reads

  • Cash Operations: deposits, withdrawals, dividends, withholding tax, fees and interest
  • Closed Positions: every sale with its purchase price and date, for the PIT-38 estimate and the win rate
  • Open Positions: what you hold today, valued at current prices

Keeping the portfolio up to date

Quotes refresh on their own, but new trades and dividends come with a new report. Download one whenever you like and drop it in again.

Overlapping periods are safe: every operation is matched by its XTB ID, so nothing is counted twice. The period "All" is the simplest choice.

Where the file goes

The report is read in your browser. Only the parsed operations are sent to the server, where the portfolio is stored encrypted. The file itself is not uploaded, and the app never asks for your XTB login.

A family member's report

Import it into a separate space, so the portfolios do not mix. Each space keeps its own imports, alerts and public page.

Questions

Do I need my XTB password?

No. You download the report yourself and upload the file. portfoliomanager never connects to your XTB account.

What if I import the same period twice?

Nothing changes. Operations already in the portfolio are recognised by their XTB ID and skipped.

Can I import separate .xlsx files instead of the .zip?

Yes. Drop one or more account .xlsx files from the report. The result is the same.
